I am a senior golfer and I travel abroad for my golf holiday on a regular basis for last several years. There were things that I learn during by golf holiday trip which I thought cold be useful to you as a golfer going for a golf holiday.
Whether you decide to take your golf holiday Algarve, Australia, Singapore, or other golf resort around the world. You have to keep in mind there are difference from golf club local rules as opposed to your home club. Besides these local rules, there are also differences in the culture of the people in that country. You need to be aware of these differences to avoid unnecessary misunderstand during your golf game. This is important especially if you join the local golfer to form a flight.
Below are some tips you should be aware:-
1) Time zone:
Some country sun rises as early as 6 in the morning and get dark almost unplayable at around 6.30 in the evening. If you are not aware of the time zone difference, you may end up not able to complete your 18 holes if you tee off at the wrong time.

2) Weather
Some cold country especial near mountain get misty as early as 5 in the evening. When it is misty, there is no way you can continue to play your golf game. If you like to play during winter, do check the temperature as you may experience different winter condition from your home country.

3) Raining season
If you do not mind to play in the rain, this is not an issue. However, most club will suspend play when it rain and even close the course when the rain gets heavy. Do check with the golf club the raining season there.
